And Keanu Reeves looked to worlds far away from his original Neo character in the film as he stepped out in Berlin on Thursday.
The 57-year-old actor was spotted filming another film, John Wick 4, while privileging fashionable comfort in a pair of brown suede mules and a cozy beanie.

Otherwise, the legend cut a chic and relaxed silhouette in a gray blazer, a black printed t-shirt and charcoal slim jeans.
Keanu’s long dark hair protruded from under the hat and he sported a hint of salt and pepper beard.
The Canadian native beamed as he was pictured getting into his vehicle, carrying his essentials in a large gym bag.

The fourth addition to the John Wick franchise is slated for release on May 27, 2022.
Its release comes in anticipation of The Matrix Resurrections, the surprise fourth installment of the sci-fi franchise, started with a new poster teasing the release of its first trailer.
The film takes place 18 years after The Matrix Revolutions, originally intended to be the final chapter in a trilogy documenting hacker Thomas Anderson’s transformation into cybercriminal Neo after inadvertently discovering that the ordinary world he lives in is a simulated reality.

Stretching out the wait, fans were treated with an advertisement for the promotional launch featuring red and blue pills placed side-by-side under the clear message: “The choice is yours.”
Fans of the popular franchise will recognize the pills as a decisive option given to Neo, played by Keanu Reeves, as he chooses between living in the war-torn real world or the “beautiful prison” of alternate reality.
The piercing statics serves as a backdrop, as tiny strings of Matrix code fall inside the pills before the whole scene melts.

The trailer invited fans to continue their saga on WhatIsTheMatrix.com, an interactive, choose your own adventure style site.
Featured with the same choice there, red takes you to a rabbit hole where you are told, “Now is your time to show us what’s real.”
Then scenes from the flash film, showing the thin barrier between reality and the artificial world known as the Matrix.
“It could be the first day of the rest of your life, but if you want it you have to fight for it,” the narration concludes, showing star Keanu Reeves ready to fight.
Choosing the blue pill offered another avenue, asking viewers, “Do you remember how you got here? “

“You have lost your ability to discern reality from fiction,” the narrator says before several surreal scenes unfold.

Then, ending on a sinister note, they point to someone touching the computer port on the back of their head and ask, “We don’t want anyone to be hurt, do we?

Although HBO offered few details on the plot of the film, they did not lack enthusiasm in their official description.
The network description reads: “Tune in to The Matrix Resurrections, the long-awaited fourth film in the groundbreaking franchise that blew minds and redefined a genre.
“From visionary filmmaker Lana Wachowski, the new film reunites original stars Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss as Neo and Trinity, the iconic roles they made famous.”
The first full trailer for The Matrix Resurrections released on Thursday, September 9 at 6:00 a.m. PST.
The original Matrix feature film was released in 1999 and received a lot of praise from its debut. The feature film was followed by two other films, both released in 2003.
The Wachowskis, who directed all of the series’ entries, initially had no plans to continue the franchise after the debut of the third film. However, rumors of a potential fourth film began to circulate in the early 2010s.
Matrix Resurrections is slated for release on December 22.
